Dr Charissa Ho MBBS FRACGP

Training:

Dr Charissa Ho was awarded her medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2007. Prior to completing general practice training, she worked at Royal North Shore Hospital and Port Macquarie Base Hospital. She gained experience in both adult and paediatric emergency, in rural and metropolitan hospitals. Since gaining her Fellowship in General Practice in 2012, Dr Charissa Ho has practiced as a GP in both metropolitan Sydney and regional NSW (Wagga Wagga).

Medical Writing:

In addition to clinical work, Dr Charissa Ho has worked as a medical writer and editor. She had a weekly column in the Daily Advertiser in Wagga Wagga during her time as a regional GP, and was medical editor for Diabetes Management Journal from 2013-2017. She also undertook some freelance medical writing work for medical practitioners and practices during this period.
