Dr Charissa Ho
Dr Charissa Ho is a Sydney-based general practitioner with a special interest in women’s health, preventive healthcare and performance medicine.
She works with women navigating the demands of modern life — balancing career, family, health and ambition. Her clinical approach focuses on long-term health and resilience.
In addition to general practice, Dr Ho has a particular interest in endurance sport, recovery, longevity and sustainable performance. She is a Community Ambassador for the 2026 TCS Sydney Marathon, a recreational running coach through Athletics Australia, and runs with Sydney-based running group Apex Run Collective.
Dr Ho lives on Sydney’s lower north shore with her husband and six children. Her clinical practice is shaped by the realities of balancing career, motherhood and endurance sport.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr Charissa Ho has worked as a medical writer and editor, including as former Medical Editor of Diabetes Management Journal.

Dr Ho graduated from the University of Adelaide and completed her early medical training at Royal North Shore Hospital and Port Macquarie Base Hospital before gaining her Fellowship in General Practice in 2012. She has worked across metropolitan Sydney and regional New South Wales in both hospital and community settings.
